  1. Cleaning out Old Candle Jars
  2. DIY Craft Desk for Under $100

For this project you will need:

  1. Glass Cylinder Vase (I got mine from Dollar Tree) 7.25inch
  2. Diamond Mesh Wrap Roll or Rhinestone Crystal Ribbon (Ebay)
  3. Glue Gun
  4. Floating Candles or Flowers (Amazon)

This project is very easy to do and can be done for centerpieces at events or even at your home. I did this for my wedding centerpieces that were a big hit at my wedding. Now lets get started.

Now measure the cylinder vase to see how much of the rhinestone ribbon you will need. Cut the correct length that wraps around the vase. Add hot glue to the rhinestone ribbon instead of the glass. If you add glue to the glass it will stain the glass and not look to great.

I always added glue in middle spots around the glass to make sure the rhinestone ribbon is secure. It is okay to add to much glue to the beginning of the rhinestone ribbon like shown in the picture above. You will cover that up once you bring the ribbon all the way around. As soon in the photo below.

To finish things up design your vase however you like. You can add flowers to the vase for good table centerpiece or floating candles in the vase. At my wedding I added floating candles that I got from Amazon that was get because they last the whole night.

Thanks for reading this post. Check out my blog for other DIY Project. Also, comment below and tell me what you have done to some old vase of yours.
